I consider today to be one of the most holy days of the Christian year. Today we commemorate the last hours of Jesus' life. Today we remember Jesus’ arrest, his trial, crucifixion and suffering, death, and burial.
I invite you today, to read the Gospel accounts of Jesus' Seven Last Words on the Cross. Take some time to meditate and reflect on the great lengths God has gone to restore a relationship with us.
Even though I am the Senior Pastor of Wesley Freedom UMC, everything on my Blog represents my own opinion and not the opinion of Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church or The United Methodist Church. These postings are just my random thoughts, musings and reflections.
I believe the Christian life is a journey. One in which we work on our vertical relationship with God and our horizontal relationship with others. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I believe our faith journey is best when it is shared. Through my random thoughts and my own attempt to live out my faith, I invite you on this journey with me.
